Nicky Butt wants to leave Manchester United >>
[BACK TO NEWS HEADLINES]

Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt has handed in a transfer request at Manchester United Football Club after being frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities.

A regular England international, Butt has generally been left out of the side this season due to the form of Roy Keane and Phil Neville. The emergence of Kleberson adn Darren Fletcher in the Man United side has also increased the competition.

The combatative midfielder will no doubt attract interest and it is believed Middlesborough are already prepared to make a firm bid for the England star whilst Aston Villa, Spurs and Everton are also interested.
