English Champions Manchester United have finalised
the signing of promising Irish star Liam Miller from Scottish
giants Glasgow Celtic on a pre-contract agreement.
22 year old Miller, now a full Republic of Ireland international
after captaining the Under-21 side, would have been out of contract
at Celtic in the summer and is Uniteds first signing of the January
transfer window.
Whilst Celtic boss Martin O'Neill was keen to tie the youngster
to a new deal in Scotland, the temptation of the Premiership Champions
was too good to resist for Miller, who has already impressed at
the highest level in this seasons UEFA Champions League.
