Manchester United poised to move for Celtic ace >>
[BACK TO NEWS HEADLINES]

English Champions Manchester United are believed to be on the verge of signing the promising Irish star Liam Miller from Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic on a pre-contract agreement.

22 year old Miller, now a full Republic of Ireland international after captaining the Under-21 side, is out of contract at Celtic in the summer and is expected to sign a deal with United before the weekend.

Whilst Celtic boss Martin O'Neill was keen to tie the youngster to a new deal in Scotland, the temptation of the Premiership Champions looks like being one too good to resist for Miller, who has already impressed at the highest level in this seasons UEFA Champions League.
