Following injury to Jerzy Dudek, English soccer
club Liverpool are on the lookout for a short term replacement
for the Polish international.
Former Feyernoord stopper Dudek is expected to be out for upto
a month with a groin injury and Chris Kirkland, Gerard Houillier's
number one, is also injured, leaving just the French keeper Patrice
Luzi the only fit last line of defence available.
Despite a solid debut from Luzi in the surprise victory over Chelsea,
Houillier is keen to bring in a short term reinforcement should
anything happen to his third choice goalkeeper over the coming
month.
